I have shed much tears and cried many cries for the foolishness of my friends like you and the ignorance of some parents. At times, I feel like commanding hail stones to fall on those that violate you and take advantage of your ignorance and innocent heart.

A little girl of seven by name Cynthia lived with her parents and was in primary 3 in one of the private schools in the city. She was beautiful and she had high hopes of a bright future. She was the beloved of her parents, especially her father.

Now there, was a man from the pit of hell whose name was later confirmed to be Aluko. This man happened to be her Mathematics teacher and he started touching her privately at that tender age and ended up raping her over and over and over again.

What surprised me was when Cynthia confided in someone at the age of 16, she pleaded that her parents should not know about the situation.
Then the questions were and still are;

Were the parents not observant?

Was there no sign(s) of pain from Cynthia that could have drawn their attention?

Who was bathing Cynthia at that baby’s age?

Were her parents only interested in providing the ‘goodie goodies’ for her and left the weightier matter undone?

So many questions with no one to provide answers to… How sad!
