Greetings and blessings for the entire international community of Ministry @ Steemchurch. I share with you a brilliant reflection, which we find in Psalm 1: 1, which says:

Blessed is the man who did not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor walk in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers.

Human nature itself is sinful. He who is not born of Christ, practices evil. His thoughts are directed towards evil, and his manifest works are carnal: adultery, fornication, filth, lewdness, idolatry, anger, strife, dissensions, heresies, envy, murder, drunkenness, orgies (Galatians 5: 19-20).

What good advice can we receive from a bad person?

The Word of God says that "the wise see evil and leave".
If you are wise and have been born of the Spirit of God, then, do not lean your ear to listen to the counsel of the ungodly. Our source of counseling comes from God, that is, his Word. Do not walk the path with sinners. From the first moment you received Christ in your heart, you entered a life of consecration with God. The man who experiences the new birth in Christ, begins to be guided by the Holy Spirit to all truth and all righteousness, and remains separate from evil, practicing all righteousness.

Instead of reveling in sinners, the Lord teaches us in this same Psalm 1: 2, what our delight should be:

But in his law is his delight, and in his law he meditates day and night.

If you have a problem and need advice, Jehovah's law is the solution. Lean on the Word of God, make it your delight, in it you will find multiple solutions to the different problems that may arise in our common life.

Each time you meditate on the Word of God, you will receive the appropriate advice to overcome the difficulties and challenges of life. Every good gift comes from God. All good counsel comes from the heavenly Father. Do not rely on men with corrupt thoughts, look for the source of life and peace that comes from the Holy Scriptures.
