Greetings to the whole community.

In Bible stories we will share the story of "The ten plagues of Egypt." We can find this story in Exodus, chapters 7 through 12.

If you look at the images of the initial image. Each one shows a plague that Jehovah put on Egypt. In the first time, Aaron hit the Nile River with his cane. Then the water of the river turned to blood, and the fish of the river died, and now the river began to smell bad.

Then Jehovah caused the frogs to come out of the Nile River. They were in the ovens, the kneaded vessels, the beds, everywhere. When the frogs died, the Egyptians put them in heaps, and the country was filled with a bad smell.

Then Aaron hit the ground with his cane and the dust turned into mosquitoes, small insects that fly and bite. This was the third plague.

The other plagues only hurt the Egyptians, not Israel. The fourth was of large flies that arrived at the homes of all the Egyptians.

The fifth plague wounded the animals. Many of the cows and sheep and goats of the Egyptians died.

Then Moses and Aaron threw handfuls of ashes into the air, which caused sores to people and animals. This was the sixth plague.

After that, Moses raised his hands to heaven, and the LORD commanded thunder and hail. It was the worst hail storm that Egypt had ever had.

The eighth plague was a great swarm of locusts. Never before has there been, nor after that there have been so many locusts. They ate everything that the hail did not destroy.

The ninth plague was of darkness. For three days a thick darkness covered the country, but the Israelites had light where they lived.

Finally, God told his people to sprinkle the blood of a child or a lamb on the doorposts. Then the angel of God passed over Egypt. When the angel saw the blood, he did not kill anyone in that house. But when he did not see the blood, he killed the firstborn, the man and the animal. This was the tenth plague.

After this plague, Pharaoh released the Israelites, who were already ready and that same night they began to leave Egypt.

What do we learn from this story?

It is necessary to experience so many difficult things to obey God. The most terrible thing is to lose our loved ones so that we give up our hardness of heart and ask God to take control of our lives.

What other learning can you draw from this story?

@dali13. Faith is one of the Christian lessons that must be internalized throughout the 10 plagues. James 2:20 says: "But do you want to know, vain man, that faith without works is dead?" Do we have the faith to keep God's instructions and His commandments? If not, then our faith is dead. What would have happened if Moses, Aaron and Israel had ignored God's orders and taken care of them?
God still differentiates between spiritual Israelites-those who submit to their will and laws-and spiritual Egypt. When we humbly submit to God, He endorses the results-He always does his part. This is one of the great lessons that are learned from the 10 plagues....
