Greeting

Dear brothers of the block chain:
To you who belong to the special people of God, and who continue to believe in Jesus Christ and live very close to him, I send you my regards.

I, @elPastor; I ask our Father God and the Lord Jesus Christ to love them and give them peace.

Introduction

There are times when fear can paralyze the bravest heart. When we perceive a threat to our well-being or an obstacle that separates us from our goals, we often fear that the whole plan for our lives is in grave danger.

In those moments we need to remember the promises of God. This will help us keep our eyes on God, not on obstacles.

The Israelite spies

When the Israelite spies undertook a reconnaissance mission to examine the land of Canaan, they had no idea what they were going to find. It was a great honor to have been chosen by Moses for such a mission. He had chosen the main leader of each of the twelve tribes of Israel to do that work.

However, all their training and experience had not prepared them for something so overwhelming. Where were such large clusters of grapes that they had to be loaded on a stick by two men (Numbers 13:23)? Who could be prepared to face the Canaanite warriors who were so great that they made the best men in the army of Israel look like dwarves (Num. 13:33)? No wonder the spies felt a whirlwind of emotions when they returned to their commander-in-chief to give him a full report.

Moses and Aaron gather the people to listen to the news of the spies.

Let's try to imagine the scene. Moses and his brother Aaron gathered the people to listen to the news. The spies confirmed that the promised land was really all that God had said it was, but they focused on what they had seen as obstacles to owning the land, that is, on the giants that inhabited it. They gave a correct report, but they did not tell the whole story. Only Joshua and Caleb told the whole truth.

These faithful men told what they had seen and then reiterated, in their own words, the promises of God that had brought them to that point: "If Jehovah is pleased with us, he will take us to this earth and give us For us, the earth that flows milk and honey, therefore, do not be rebellious against the Lord, nor fear the people of this earth, because we will eat it as bread, their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us, do not fear them " Nm 14: 8-9).

Joshua and Caleb lived to see the promised land.

How interesting to know that Joshua and Caleb lived to see the promised land, but only because they set their sights on the goal God had set for them, not on the obstacles in the way (Num 14:30; 26: 64-65; 32 : 11-12).

The blessings that God has reserved for you are abundant! Do not let a myopic vision, especially one focused on obstacles, prevent you from seeing the Lord's long-term plan for your life.
