Introduction

Beloved in the Lord, we know that obedience can be difficult, especially when we are tempted to believe that by being obedient we will lose more than we can gain. However, obeying God is essential to please Him, not only in moments of temptation, but at all times.

Remember this: when you and I choose to obey God, we choose the path of wisdom. In this sense, we will share in the current studies, some principles, that when put into practice in our lives, we will begin to obey God with determination and joy, knowing that He will fulfill all His promises.

The word of God says in (Exodus 19: 5):

"Now, therefore, if you listen to my voice and keep my alliance, you will be my special treasure over all peoples, because the land is mine."

Trust in God your life and all your worries.

You can not go wrong if you put your hope and your trust in God. He created you and loves you with eternal love. Therefore, He will always guide you in the best possible way.

Wait in the Lord for the answer to your problem or situation.

When in doubt, refuse to take another step, unless you know that God is guiding you.

Meditate on the Word of God.

When you saturate your mind with the Word of God, you know what the Lord thinks. When temptation comes, you will know how to distinguish good from evil and you will know how to act in the right way.

Listen to the Holy Spirit.

God is still speaking to his people today. He speaks to us through his Word, the Holy Spirit and the words of a trusted Christian pastor or friend. We become sensitive to the Spirit of God when we spend time with Him, praying and studying the precepts of the Bible.

Be willing to wait or turn around when the road in front of you is not clear.

If you want to please God more than all others, obedience to Him requires that you stand firm. If you feel clear guidance in your situation, ask God to confirm your will for you in his word. He will never contradict the Scriptures. His will for his life always fits perfectly with what the Bible says.

Be willing to have a fight.

When the nation of Israel entered the promised land under the direction of God, it had to face enemy opposition. God rarely leaves us without problems and conflicts. If he did, we would have no reason to depend on him. God leaves us enough difficulties for us to always turn to him.

Leave the consequences to God.

Obedience will not be easy; You will receive criticism from others, or you will face strong obstacles and opposition, but this will put you in a favorable position before God. He will take care of everything that has to do with you; therefore, remain on the path of obedience, and leave the rest to Him.
