1 Then the kingdom of heaven will be similar to ten virgins who, taking their lamps, went out to receive the husband. 2 Five of them were prudent and five foolish. 3 The fools, taking their lamps, did not carry oil with them; 4 But the wise took oils in their vessels, along with their lamps. 5 And when the husband was late, they all nodded and fell asleep. 6 And at midnight there was a shout: Here comes the husband; Get out to meet him! 7 Then all those virgins got up and fixed their lamps. 8 And the fools said to the wise, Give us of your oil; because our lamps go out (Matthew 25: 1-8).

These biblical portions are known as the parable of the prudent and foolish virgins.
Through this parable, the Lord Jesus teaches the spiritual numbness through which the current church will pass. The Lord Jesus explains in verse 1 that "the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins."

Notice that the verb used is in the future (will be); which indicates the future spiritual condition of the church. It is a spiritual condition of numbness. That is, the church fire is going out. What gives life to the church is the Holy Spirit. If we see the church today, that is what is really happening with Christians. Apparently we are many, however, the vast majority spiritually dead. It is like the valley of dry bones. In other words, the current church is a valley of dry bones, it is what the Lord Jesus visualized with the parable of the ten virgins, showing that by the time of his second coming, the church will be asleep instead of being awake.

If we observe the behavior of some Christians, we will find details like these:

• Abandonment of evangelization, for not wanting to abandon the comforts of the four walls of a temple.
• Conformism of being a member of a certain denomination.
• Look only for the reputation of being expert musicians.
• The conformism of being eloquent platform preachers.

This is what is commonly called "the spiritual catastrophe" that the church will have to live at the time of the rapture of the Lord's church.

What should we do to be prepared and produce a great awakening in our congregations?

The first thing is to remind Christians that the prophetic words of the Lord Jesus are real and true; that deserve an alert and a preparation with the fire of the Holy Spirit.
In the parable, the Lord mentions five prudent virgins, those virgins are Christians who are constant in prayer, congregation, evangelization and practitioners of love of neighbor. They are not conformist believers, but men and women with the spirit of brave and warriors. They leave their comfort line and go out to the training camp evangelizing and winning souls for the kingdom. Prudent Christians are always careful to keep their lamps full of oil and with the fire burning.

Church, it's time to wake up. It is time to show pure and sincere love for souls.

In the church where I congregate and become part of the body of pastors, during this year 2019 we carried out an action plan to keep the fire of the Holy Spirit in the church. We have designed a work schedule where three days we are in the temple in prayer and adoration, and the rest of the week we have the mission teams distributed in several geographical areas of our state, as well as we have worships in homes where the word of God is predicate

In these last times, we are called to produce fire with the seed of the Word of God, where the Holy Spirit will make the awakening glorious in each person. We focus on the awakening of the current church.
