All who remain in Christ do not sin, all who sin have not seen or known ... All who have been born of God do not practice sin because the seed of God abides in him; and he cannot sin because he was born of God (1 Jn 3: 6-9).

This statement from the Lord requires the person to wonder if they have experienced the new birth in water and Spirit; This process of the new birth is what makes the person "born in God." If the person is born in God, the Word says: "All who are born of God do not practice sin because the seed of God abides in him."

This word says that the believer's power of victory centers on his new birth in Christ. This will make him victorious over sin, because the powerful seed of God is in the person who confesses Christ and helps him to enjoy God's divine protection through the Holy Spirit, who is the one who convinces each person of sin.

How can I be victorious over my adversary?

The Word we share is very precise, "don't sin."
If after confessing Christ the person continues to sin, then he was not born of God, but is still in darkness. Although it is very important to clarify that this is a process, it is not overnight that the person changes completely, but that it is a continuous and permanent process, in which relevant changes are observed in the person. The transformation process is carried out by the Holy Spirit. The person must do his part so that the Spirit does the work in an extraordinary time.

Remember that the Word says, that the born of God "cannot sin."

Satan will walk around the new believer to tempt him in all that has bound him, but God is powerful and breaks every yoke and every curse.

The man born in the Spirit will defeat the enemy at every stage, because Christ has already defeated him on the cross, which is the seed of God in the life of the believer.
