The marriage established by God is the union of a man with a woman. The union of these, allows the formation of a flesh, in which, the body of the woman is of the man and vice versa. Marriage is based on the love expressed by the couple, and with the union of the opposite sexes, the fundamental objective of God is achieved, which is the fruit and multiplication of man on earth.

In Matthew 19: 1-9, the Lord Jesus speaks to his disciples about marriage and divorce.
A Pharisee to tempt Jesus told him:

Is it permissible for a man to repudiate his wife for some reason? He, responding, said: Have you not read that the one who made them at the beginning, men and women made them, and said: That is why man will leave father and mother, and will join his wife, and the two will be one flesh ? ? Then they are no longer two, but only one flesh; therefore, what God gathered, man does not separate. They said to him: Why then did Moses order to deliver a divorce letter and repudiate it? He told them: because of the hardness of your heart, Moses allowed you to repudiate your women; but at first it was not like that.

It is important to recognize that no marriage is free of differences and difficulties between couples, whose differences can lead to the decision of a divorce. If the husband or wife feels disappointed, they can favor the divorce decision.

When problems occur in marriage, who tries to gain ground in the matter is Satan. What will begin to exaggerate the fault committed by one of the spouses, sowing the tare of suspicion and jealousy, causing the self-pity of the affected spouse, making him see that he needs something better, with misleading promises that things would be better with someone else .

In the area of ​​discord and jealousy, marriage is threatened and the reaction of one of the spouses is not left waiting; who will soon come out with the divorce proposal.

Lack of forgiveness in marriage is the cause of many divorces. The Lord Jesus, highlights the hardness of the heart.
The only one who can change hearts and break their hardness, if we allow it, is called God.
