Greetings, brothers.

The best lesson for your children is to teach them what it DOES NOT mean; and they will have learned the best lesson in this life.

That was the lesson that Adam and Eve rejected in the Garden of Eden. God told them that they could eat the fruit of all the trees of the field, but of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, which is in the center of the garden: you will NOT eat. They did not learn the lesson, and that is the reason for the diseases, the wars, the sadness, the misery, the pain and the death that happen to this poor humanity.

It is not strange that in the ten commandments that God gave to Moses, written on two tablets of stone, the word DOES NOT appear eight times:

• You can not have other gods in front of me.
• You will NOT make an image.
• You will not bow to them.
• You will not kill.
• You will NOT commit adultery.
• You will not speak against false testimony.
• You shall not covet the house, nor your neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything of your neighbor.

"Correct your son and he will give you rest" (Proverbs 29:17).
"Foolishness is bound in the heart of the child, but the rod of correction will chase it away" (Proverbs 22:15).
"Do not refuse to correct the child, because if he punishes him with a rod, he will not die, he will punish him with a rod and free his soul from hell" (Proverbs 23: 13-14).
"The rod and the correction give wisdom, but the spoiled child will shame his mother" (Proverbs 29:15).
"Punish your son as long as there is hope, but do not let your soul rush to destroy him" (Proverbs 19:18).

Previously, our parents knew how to teach us what it did NOT mean, to the point that with a glance they made us retreat and we stopped touching the things of others in the houses we visited. Nowadays, most parents feel very embarrassed when they visit their friends, because their children spoil the gardens, break glass, give their faces to the elderly, kick the walls, spit on the floor, stand on the furniture with dirty shoes, they scream, they kick and they emberrinchan if they do not give them the other children's toys to hurt them.

Almost always that mother, or that father says to his rebellious son: - Juanito ... I am going to hit you, stop that child; you are becoming hateful ...

If you have not taught your children what it does NOT mean, tomorrow they can be criminals.
The tears that he keeps now, may be blood that will be extracted later. Do not forget it and act with authority, before it's too late.

Remember the tragic consequences of Father Eli's weakness in dealing with his children. Both died the same day and the wife of one of them gave birth in a bad way and the old Eli fell on his back and undressed.

King David consented to his son Absalom, who killed his brother and then rose up against his own father; Equipped with tanks and front of 250 man. He slept with his father's women, before the eyes of the people and the king fled barefoot, with his head covered; for not having used sufficient authority in the raising of that monster, who finally died by hair, in a leafy cork and with three arrows in the heart (2 Samuel 19: 1-8).

Remember this, brothers in Christ, both the father and the mother must take the necessary and sufficient authority. None of you should give up this duty; nor act as an advocate, when your spouse corrects the child. If he punished him, he is well punished, let him cry. "The rod and correction give wisdom, but the spoiled child will shame his mother" (Proverbs 29:15).
