WAIT IN GOD AND ACCESS FAITH.

Many have had the sad experience of being abandoned by their father or mother. Destroyed homes, differences in belief, addiction to drugs or alcohol, and even psychological isolation can leave children affected by this loss. This pain can persist even as adults.

God can occupy that place in our lives, fill that void and heal that wound. He can direct us towards adults who can be for us fathers or mothers. The love of God is enough for everything.

Some people say: "big doors are opened by small hinges".

For all believers in Christ, God has a plan of action, we can be sure of that. It may exceed all our dreams. God will do everything abundantly, more than we have imagined.

The Bible says: Teach me, O LORD, your way, and lead me in a path of righteousness because of my enemies. Do not give me over to the will of my enemies; because false witnesses have risen up against me, and those who breathe cruelty. I would have fainted, if I did not believe that I would see the goodness of Jehovah in the land of the living. Wait for Jehovah; Be strong, and your heart be encouraged; Yes, wait for Jehovah. Psalm 27: 11-14 Revised Standard Version (1960)

David knew from experience what it meant to wait for the Lord. He had been anointed king at the age of sixteen, but he was not king until he was thirty. Meanwhile, the jealous King Saul was chasing him throughout the desert. David had to wait on God for the fulfillment of his promise that he would one day be king. Later, after becoming king, he was persecuted by Absalom, his rebellious son.

The "land of the living" simply means this life. It is obvious that David was going through a trial, but he was confident that in this present life God would help him out of trouble.

Waiting on God is not easy. It often seems that he is not responding to our prayers or that he does not understand the urgency of our situation. That kind of thinking implies that God does not hold the reins or that it is not fair. But it is worth the effort to wait on God. Lamentations 3.24-26 calls us to hope and wait for the Lord since God often uses waiting to refresh us, renew us and teach us. Let's use those moments of waiting to discover what God may be trying to teach us in the process.

God only expects us to surrender to Him and be willing to be in the place He has placed us. Let Him make us His great weapon of justice. Do not be impatient or alarmed if for a time God decides to leave us as on a shelf instead of throwing us into a big project because, He knows what he is doing. Meanwhile we seek to be a "sharp arrow" and ready to be "cast" according to his divine time and his glory.

To activate the plan of action that the Lord has with each one of us is essential to have faith. "Therefore, faith is the certainty of what is expected, the conviction of what is not seen." Hebrews 11: 1 (VRV'60)

Because without faith it is impossible to please God; we must then base ourselves on his promises and walk by his Word in order to have access of faith. Knowing how to hope in God makes us have a heart like David's; a heart according to God.

Wait for Jehovah; Be strong, and your heart be encouraged; Yes, wait for Jehovah. Psalm 27:14 Revised King James Version (1960)

Let me tell you something that may surprise you, God is not interested in giving you what you so much want quickly. While we like to invest in things, God prefers to invest in people, he is more interested in you, than in what he can give you, or what you want to obtain.
Therefore we must be synchronized with what God wants to do, in order to receive what is expected.
We all like to own the biblical promises. The question is, for whom are the biblical promises? They are exclusively for those who know how to hope in God. Do we all Christians expect? As long as we do not learn to wait on God, we will not see his promises materialize.
