Greetings to the whole community.

I share with you the following message, in which the apostle Paul tells us: "Take every thought captive" and surrender to Christ and his teaching (2 Corinthians 10: 5).

Our minds are battlefields. The enemy of humanity knows that if he can conquer this territory, he can govern the person. Satan, our adversary, throws us harmful thoughts, that's his strategy! That kind of thinking does not belong to the mind of Christ and, therefore, is incompatible with the one who seeks to follow Christ.

These thoughts adopt different disguises. Whether they come in the form of immoral thoughts, deception, anger, lust, hatred or selfishness, we must treat them all in the same way as if they were an enemy army and we must face them as soldiers on the battlefield. We have to attack them and take them captives as prisoners of war that we deliver to the commander-in-chief, the Lord Jesus Christ. This leaves the invaders without weapons that can no longer threaten us.

The apostle Paul gives us the directions: "Give up all bitterness, anger and anger, shouting and slander, and all kinds of malice (Ephesians 4:31). Can you think of a better description of the different types of destructive thoughts that should be Been taken captive to Christ?

These thoughts will try to attack us in two ways: through a subterfuge or an ambush. Sometimes they sneak in while other times they remain on hold as a massive force. Whatever the case, we must make the decision to pray and say something like the following: "Father, I will not give in to these thoughts, I will not take them into account, I refuse to be prevented from moving forward or dominate me." I refuse to have resentment, bitterness, anger and resentment, I will give all these invading thoughts to the Lord Jesus. "

As this becomes a habit, we discover that our emotions will gradually be under control: control of Christ.

The bible tells us that we must take every thought captive. (2 Corinthians 10: 5) That means I have the opportunity to do something about it with all the thoughts that are not pleasing to God before they enter my heart and become a part of me!

"For what is his thought in his heart, such is he." (Proverbs 23: 7) What we think is fundamental and defines what we are. Scientists disagree about how many thoughts we have each day, but all agree that there are thousands of thoughts. What we are is formed at every moment by the thoughts that we let enter our mind and our heart.
