Called To Be An Ariel!
Ariel (Hebrew: אֲרִיאֵל; Arabic: اريئيل)
In Hebrew, Ariel means Lion of God, a name that is used as a symbol of value and is the emblem of the tribe of Judah. In the Bible, Ariel is one of the names of Jerusalem and is identified with the Temple of Jerusalem (Isaiah 29: 1-8).
The name "Ariel" is found in three portions of the Bible.
- In Isaiah 29: 1,2,7 where it appears as a name for the city of Jerusalem.
- Also in Ezekiel where the altar is. Ezekiel 43: 15-16.
- In Ezra 8:16.
Ezra 8: 14-23
14 And of the sons of Bigvai, Utai and Zabud, and with them seventy men.
15 I gathered them by the river that comes to Ahava, and we camped there three days; and having searched among the people and among the priests, I did not find there of the sons of Levi. 16Then I dispatched Eliezer, Ariel,

Then I sent Eliezer, Ariel, Shemaiah, Elnathan, Jarib, Elnathan, Nathan, Zechariah and Meshullam, chief men, as well as Joiarib and Elnathan, learned men;
Beloved church the work of the Lord needs leading men, just as Ariel is named among this group of nine main men. there are tasks that can not be put in the hands of anyone.
Pablo, in I Tim. 5:22 says that we should not lay hands lightly on anyone.
Ariel had to be tested; Many times we are being observed without our noticing.
Ezra was a very wise leader, he always focused on his men to know who to commission the right tasks.
Ariel was an honest man.
He did not let himself be diverted by temptations. He thought more about the welfare of the Lord's work than his.
Ariel was a faithful man.
He was always there next to Ezra.
Ezra knew that he would do his best to fulfill any mandate.
Notice that among the 6-7 thousand who were with Ezra there were no more than nine main men:
They were the ones who tried.

II. The work of the Lord requires learned men. v. 16
Educated men, willing to study.
To study is to work, it is to discipline the mind to work.
It is easy to be deceived, while we learn little by little without studying, many are content with this no more; The baby learns without books.
We have to make an effort to study; Education serves in many ways.
The book of Proverbs urges us again and again to seek science, intelligence and wisdom.
The man who earns the most is the one who acts with a good education.
The work of the Lord demands a good knowledge of the Word of God.

No one went with Ezra out of obligation. 1: 3
His parents were taken to Babylon as captives more than 120 years ago, they were thriving and comfortable in Babylon.
However, they did not want to leave, they had lost their love for God and the holy city.
They were volunteers willing to make sacrifices; Many of those who went with Ezra left comfort and security behind.

The Levites were the ones who served the priests in their work.
Ezra commanded these 11 men to go and look for some Levites to accompany him.

In the work of the Lord, more Ariels are needed. Men who take the main places. let God allow many of our young people to determine in their hearts, accept the "call of being an Ariel". It is important to start now by striving to study and develop your talents. Thus, when they reach maturity, they will have something to offer the Lord.

And look what valuable information I found about what God wants us to do, God and his kingdom need people willing to go to the nations to carry the Good News of Salvation regardless of conditions, without seeing sacrifices where they will have to pass , I know that God, more than sacrifice, he wants obedience,
sometimes we see first how hard or sacrificial it is to serve Him to the Lord but we have to know that in the midst of the service that you do he is the one who takes the load and makes you win the battles. we will never be able to take JESUS out of his sacrificial position, God only wants to evaluate our level of obedience and faith, just as Abraham when he sacrificed Isaac Isaac God only wanted to prove his faith and obedience, and instead, as God rewarded faith and Abraham's obedience, causing a lamb to appear for the sacrifice instead of his only son Isaac. God wants us to trust him, because he is the one who provides the lamb for the sacrifice so do not be afraid to say I accept the "call of being an Ariel"
Ariel encloses a series of qualities, represents honesty, also strength, God still seeks men and women with these characteristics that represent his kingdom.
