Council for the church: three spiritual weapons that you must use
Reading to argue (2 Corinthians 10: 3-4)
For although we walk in the flesh, we do not militate according to the flesh;
because the weapons of our militia are not carnal, but powerful in God for the destruction of fortresses.
The people who claim to be a Christian must be determined to grow spiritually. Such growth is painful, because we are constrained, modeled and educated by the Holy Spirit. Spiritual people face with amazing results any carnal thought (of which we are attached all the time) that assaults their mind.
It is important that the people of God recognize that although we live in the world, we do not fight battles as the world does for the reason that God wants us strengthened ¿ and in victory and how can we have the victory, that is, with our own strength ?
- That is impossible because we walk in the flesh and in this sense the apostle Paul admits to be someone mortal who lives in the midst of the realities of the current world, but who does not belong to this world.
For many this could be crazy, then, people without the direction of God find it impossible to say that "we are not of this world", simply the people of God admit it because they do not live to practice the things that people without God practice
Our militia, that is, we do not fight "against flesh and blood," for which we do not need fleshly weapons but those that God's power provides. It is notorious that here the apostle Paul refers specifically to the battle in the mind, waged against the arrogant ideas and attitudes he calls arguments and against all haughtiness (pride) opposed to the true knowledge of God. The intention is to take captive every thought to the obedience of Christ.
Carrying All Thought Captive to christ. The believer is called to be free to serve God
Victory is achieved by controlling our thoughts, not by fighting against feelings. Submitting to God makes his will in us.
We always have to take our captive thoughts to obedience to Christ. Here is the wisdom of man.
It is in that order of ideas that God has given us spiritual weapons to use against evil, and to fight against the enemy since we can not ignore the trickery of God's enemy. Among those spiritual weapons are:
1.- The Word of God: You must receive it through preaching, teaching, reading and personal study of the Bible if you want to hear the voice of God and walk with Him, because obeying this the word will become a revelation given by inspiration of the holy spirit. The Christian must not ignore this great truth.

2._ Praise: When a Christian praises God constantly this defeats the devil instantaneously, but you should know that this praise must be genuine that comes from the heart, and not just from lips like any religious.

3.- Prayer: Remember that prayer is a relationship with God, speaking with him asking for direction or telling him everything that you keep in your heart. For this to be effective we must develop an intimate relationship with God.
Beloved brothers and sisters we constantly have a war that we have to wage and we are not necessarily going to win them with our weapons, God has given us and has advised us about the weapons we must use to wage this battle.
¡Use them!
Many believers do not understand the way to make spiritual warfare because they do not know the authority that was delegated to them and they do not know how to use the weapons that the Lord has already put at their disposal. It is the warrior's duty to know their weapons very well and to become proficient in their handling.
Thanks to the redeeming work on the Cross of Calvary, Jesus drew and opened a way for us to walk in it, it is up to us to walk along that path of blessing. We must understand that in this war we have been delegated authority to defeat the enemy.
