¿What was truly Samson's weakness?

Hello Blessings, Welcomes to my blog.

Reading to deepen: Judges 14.

The strongest man: Judge Samson.

The Bible tells us the story of a man named Samson who had no man on earth who had more physical strength than him.
The promise for Samson's parents was not to put a razor on his head, because the child was a " Nazirite" to God from his birth, and he was the one chosen to start saving Israel from the hand of the Philistines.
Samson was born with a purpose of being set apart for God as a "Nazarite" type, separated from every evil thing that displeases God.
One of the things that Samson had to keep was not to take a Philistine woman for him. Sanson was a man with a huge, supernatural force that tore apart lions like someone who smashes a kid without having anything in his hand.
Samson had a particularity in his head and it was the length of his hair, where apparently the strength of sansón was.

Let's see friends and brothers the following: Nazarene laws forbade relations with foreign women, and yet Samson went after a harlot from Gaza (Judges 16.1). Then he met a woman named Delilah and although he came to him with only one purpose to weaken him and discover the motive of his strength, because the performance of this woman was clearly disloyal, custión he did not take into account and gave himself to her in a way Deranged, she indulged in sexual indulgence. His slavery to sin was so dramatic that in the end it allowed him to break his passions and decipher the secret of his strength even at the cost of his own life.

However it is important to note that although Samson had been raised in a Christian home and knew God's call for his life, the Bible teaches us that Samson yielded to his desires and violated the truth of God.
For example Samson violated the Nazarite vow by touching the lion's remains and thus became impure from the ceremonial point of view.
We also read that Sansón attended the marriages where they used to serve wine. This means that Samson violated his vow a second time.
In the same way in the previous verses it is related that Samson saw in Timnat a woman of the daughters of the Philistines and asked his parents to take her as a woman for him, because he felt liked by that woman, which was forbidden to take foreign woman

Now I want you to pay close attention to the following:
Many Bible scholars believe that Sanson's weakness was women, and that is why Samson lost everything.
But my question is: What do you think, was Sanson's weakness?
If we go deeper into the Biblical history of men and women who achieved feats even against themselves, in the midst of battles and deserts, we realize that something was happening in the life of Samson, that is, there was a root of the problem that Samson was presenting and It was not exactly women.

In that order of ideas, what then was Samson's weakness?
In my opinion, Samson's weakness was in one word, lack of "identity."
Yes, Sansón lacked "Identity", so he easily gave in to the pressures of women and many faults that we find in the following stories.
For lack of "Identity" Samson lost everything: strength, sight and dignity, because when man has no identity easily yields to the pressures of life

¡Weakness of Samson: Lack of "Identity"!

Source

The Christian who wants to live a life without "identity", will easily fall before the pressures of the world, it is necessary to seek his identity through the Holy Spirit's direction in order to overcome any weakness.
Example of this we have Daniel, Jose, Gideon, David, who although he was weak before many situations finally made shine his identity.
How about?
The man who once led a nation powerfully became a slave to his enemies, for this is what Satan does when you do not walk legally with God.
Identity is the greatest strength of the Christian, when your identity is Jesus Christ, you will have many battles, but finally you will have victory because you know who you have believed, and whom you serve.

Excellent reflection @ricci01, interesting as this story explains, I have heard many comments about Samson that Judge of Israel who had that enormous strength and was shot by a woman, who was attributed his weakness, but certainly that weakness had a root and Well, as you say it was "lack of identity".

Certainly that was the reason for Sanson's failure, he had no Christian identity and weaknesses immersed him in sin.
God bless you @ricci01.
