GOD IS MANIFEST IN SILENCE

To be waiting for an answer from God, with the desire to listen to his will in a situation or at least to know if he agrees with what we are thinking or desiring, is sometimes painful. Knowing and understanding the will of God is sometimes not easy, all of us think that it would be easier if we had a more direct and clear communication with Him, we could understand his purposes or know what he wants to do in us at the moment we would like that and that would make everything easier.

Some other times experiencing the silence of God makes you doubt, because it is easier to despair and think that you are slow to respond, to keep in mind that He knows what he is doing and how he is doing, his ways of acting are difficult to understand for Our human mind, but something that we have to always keep in mind is that despite appearing to be in silence it continues to act.

Sometimes in the silence God acts, the Bible mentions sometimes in which he was silent, and despite doing great things, one of them I think the most outstanding is this:

He was distressed and afflicted, he did not open his mouth; as a lamb he was taken to the slaughterhouse; and as a sheep before his shearers, he fell silent, and did not open his mouth. Isaiah 53: 7

What did he do in those moments? He gave us the greatest proof of love, in silence he made that sacrifice that no one else would dare to do, and yet he was acting despite what was said about him for not speaking, for not respond to the aggressions, accusations and ridicule he received, maybe the people around him were thinking why not talk? Because he does not respond or defends himself ?, maybe they expected him to stand up and say with a proud attitude "I am God and look at me I am acting", but his way of doing it was different, it was in love, in silence and with simplicity and Many doubted because of their silence, they wondered if in truth he would be the Son of God.

Many times in the midst of the difficult of our situation, we do the same, we despair because we do not see what we want, it blinds us the pain of not receiving answers and we begin to doubt that something happens and we even think that maybe God simply does not answer to. The truth is that God ALWAYS responds, sometimes in one way and sometimes in another, in unimaginable ways and at times when we have almost lost strength we realize that the answer is there.

Maybe God has been talking to your life and you have not noticed, because you are waiting for a powerful voice from heaven to come out and to say what you want to hear, there may be many things that distract your attention from what he has tried to tell you in different ways or maybe the doubt does not let you listen to what your voice wants to tell you.

In the silence of God we experience many things, everything he does has a purpose, in the midst of the silence that you may be living today there is something that he wants you to learn, something else that you have to listen to, something that will make you grow in spirit and in faith, not all silences are due to lack of action, sometimes all we need is to be attentive to God's answers that often come from where we least expect them, in the place and at the right time, and just in time .

That the silence is not a reason of confusion for you, because those moments in which it seems that God is silent, are for you to reflect, learn to trust and enjoy your peace, knowing that everything is under control and that even in silence God act.
