So what now will be done for scammers account???
Dear steem-bountiers
so after one week of disappering, now we can say certainly that @magicdice scammed Steemit users and now something should be done.
As you can see, they are doing power down, is it possible they can still take out money from account after they scam Steemit users???
I hope this cannot be done or Steemit is really the scammer paradise!!

Exactly. That's because steemit is decentralized. There are pros and cons of everything. This is probably the con of decentralized platforms.

Great work you did @crypto.piotr, but I think even with that what @intellihandling is looking at is the 7k+ SP which is been powered down, that is still a lot of money at the end of the day. I think been decentralized has its down side but we all just have to be careful. We see this happening on Facebook, Twitter and other social media, that is human nature for you and I don't think Steem can be the exception to such kind of things. Like they say "Shit happens". I think that is why EOS came up with VOICE, but again do you want to loose freedom to privacy and secrecy in the name of subjecting yourself to Bio-data collection which can be hacked and then another challenges turns up. Lol. Chicken and Egg situation I tell you.
Hello @intellihandling I think as it is, no one can do anything to stop the powere down and probably return the Steem.
Steemit can only delete the user account (meaning you will not be able to see @magicdics) through steemit but you can do so with other interfaces. I'm not sure if this action would even make sense lol
Also, if would have been a different scenario if the Steem was transferred through @blocktrades which is a witness account on Steem and has been assisting in such a case of theft and scamming.

Sadly there is nothing that can be done. They can keep pulling their ill-gotten earnings each week. It's the double edge sword of the blockchain...those things we love like there isn't a power that can just take our funds also means even in a case like this those funds are safe for the scammer to keep.
What can be done is you can write the different trading platform that they're sending the coins to. In this way you can notify them that these were ill-gotten gains and that are illegal. In some cases those places may confiscate the coins. But very much like everyone else said short of this, it's the beauty and the pain of having a decentralized ecosystem like this. People are in charge of their own money, and there is no real safety nets besides your own. :/
I see that probably nothing can be done as the blockchain transactions are irreversible, but probably Steem can come out with more stringent mechanisms in place that might prevent such scams in future.
I think steemit should implement a way we can stop these scammers.
May be down vote an account so as to make its reputation negative. And anything with a reputation below -10 should be prohibited from powering down. Then it should be left at the hands of a jury of 6 members selected randomly from the list of top 50 witnesses. What say ? Any loophole in this ?

@intellihandling, In my opinion from this situation we can take a lesson and that is, we should be vigilant before investing anything in any project. And when we are vigilant then we can identify what is right and what is not and we can take effective decision.
