WAYS IN WHICH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ARE EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS
There is no doubt in our mind that just a few decades ago, the mere idea that the world would be this developed probably had not come to the mind of anyone. However, the world exploded technologically wise and the human race suddenly realized that anything was possible through the use of technology and the race to tap into the massive potential of science and technology started in earnest. Here are some ways in which science and technology are exceeding expectations;
• THE RISE OF CRYPTOCURRENCY: there is nothing more interesting right now than the implosion which has been caused by the sudden arrival of cryptocurrencies. The entire financial system of countries is set to be thrown into pure chaos. Cryptocurrencies which are powered by the BlockChain technology is poised to become the payment method of all countries sooner or later.
• COMMUNICATION: one of the major innovation which science and technology have achieved is a massive improvement in the communication channels. Suddenly people are able to communicate well over borders and continents. Smart devices are being produced in mass and the technological improvements keep better with every passing year.
We can do nothing but praise science and technology for the massive results we are seeing every year. It promises to be a fascinating time in the human era. We might just witness many things which no other generations would be able to match.
It’s interesting to watch old Sci Fi shows such as Babylon 5, old Star Trek etc and see how much further things have advanced in the information technology and communications fields than what the creators envisioned for 200 years or more in the future.

The invention of ARPANET by the US military was a byproduct of the Cold War. It is the root foundation of the Internet that we have today. Cryptocurrency would not exist without this important invention.
Furthermore, the first computers were commissioned by the US military and were created to assist in calculating ballistics trajectories... These devices were the forerunners to the servers, personal computers and smartphones we all enjoy using today...
Were it not for the scientists employed by the US military many decades ago, we would not be having any kind of discussion like we are having via Steemit.
