How Do Satellites Stay Up
The Earth gravity stops satellites flying off into space, but they stay up because they are moving too fast through space to fall back to the Earth. Tosaty in orbit, the satellite must fly fast enough not to fall not so fast that it whizzes off into space. Gravoty gest weaker further from the Earth. So they higher the orbit, the slower the satellites needs to fly to stay up.
