-Donald Trump a.k.a President of the United States Of America

Now, speaking of interesting facts, Donald Trump is simply a bag full of it, some of which includes bagging some over 3500 law suits over the last three decades, getting his hair cut from his wife “Melanie” and a countless many more. But I think you might find the next fact more intriguing ; Trump Featured in The Movie “Home Alone 2: Lost in New york” By playing a Cameo who gave a description of the front desk to the character Kevin McCallister. It was later revealed to the public decades later that Donald Trump had DEMANDED that the movie crew wrote him a part in the movie in exchange for permission for them to shoot movie scenes in the PLAZA HOTEL which he owned at the time.

-Chris Hemsworth a.k.a Thor

You probably know that the movie star auditioned for the role along with his brother Liam Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleson (who later played the character of Loki) but you will be surprised that Chris and his brother Liam were both rejected and his brother Liam Hemsworth even got callback after callback for the role while Chris never did, this in turn sparked a sibling rivalry between the two brothers. When Liam ultimately couldn’t get the role Chris decided to make a second attempt at the role and this time was accepted and allowed to play the role of Thor, son of Odin. Chris in an interview some years later revealed that the sibling rivalry which birthed during this period was his core motivation to getting the role during his second attempt.

Do you know the estimated period for the formation of a single star is 10 million years? That’s not all, stars rely on their own gravity in order to be formed? Yes stars are formed when gases and molecular dusts in space under the force of gravity collide and contract in on themselves to reach a mass where they are large enough to burn hydrogen in the fusion reactions that occur in their core giving away the energy resulting from these reactions in forms of photons which travel in a straight line into space and are seen as light from the stars.

Do you know that a planet doesn’t shine or emit energy like stars do simply because they do not have mass/size large enough to allow for them to burn hydrogen in their core? This mass/size required to be able to burn hydrogen and referred to as a star is estimated to be a mass of 75 times or more that of Jupiter.

-Plants ; The Hammer Orchid

This plant happens to top my list of interesting plants today mainly because of the way it pollinates. It mimicks the female Thynnid wasp’s body (a wasp whose female specie is flightless and the male will have to pick her up and mate with her during flight for reproduction) and have a horny male of the Thynnid wasp pick it up, get a butt load of pollen and then carry this pollen mass to another plant of the same specie while trying to mate with yet another fake female Tynnid wasp.
-Animal ; Lobsters

Scientists believe that Lobsters contain a chemical that makes them biologically immortal. Unlike in other living creatures where the ends of the strands of DNA they contain (telomeres) gets shorter every time cells die and are replaced, an enzyme known as Telomerase prevents the DNA in lobsters’ cells from being damaged as they are replicated.
