Grand Solar Minimum: Snow Forecast For The Next 7 Days
I just looked at the latest snow precipitation maps for North America and Europe and there is a lot of snow coming our way. Lets dive into the maps and start with North America:
Comment: What we see here is that North and South Dakota will get pummeled with snow. That is also true for the neighbouring states such as Nebraska and Minnesota. We can expect numbers between 15-19 inches. But as always, the Sierra mountains in California will also get its regular dose of snow. You can see the green color covering the whole mountain range.
Now, lets head over to Europe:
Comment: So from this European forecast we can see that countries such as Norway, Sweden and Finland will get a lot of snow but also the baltic states. Also, the northern parts of the UK will get a lot of snow, around 30 cm and of course the Alps will be recieve its fair share as well. Up to 80 cm can be expected in that region.
