With compression zones piling ice up like mountains.

And areas where slabs are being pulled apart, creating fractures much like rift valleys.

The features are persistent but not so persistent that no more than a few craters are preserved.

:D You forgot tro say which planet or moon this is... ceres? Its a moon of jupiter or saturn isnt it, ganymede? CALISTO isnt it calisto?
