Life is always surprising, but sometimes I find something that make me smile! I found out tonight that tyrannosaurus rex laid eggs that were speckled, and modern birds inherited this egg camo from these very dinosaurs.

I had seen the science on dinosaurs being birds ancestors, and it is solid, But this is the first time I have seen science on dinosaurs laying speckled and colored eggs! It makes them a little more real to me.

I watched a show recently, where a very smart Lady did some pretty amazing things with a Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil, including finding some soft tissue.

Shades of Jurassic Park!

sir smithlabs! so when will they start to clone?

I have seen two separate labs that have extracted soft tissue, and blood from dinosaur fossils, so dna is here in pieces now.

Forensic reconstruction methods should be able to re-assemble the entire genome from what they have now.

So not long....

haha! That is truly amazing to think about! they'll want to go to Oklahoma so they can be around their cave man friends!

That would be great, but you are too far north...

They need to be south of the red river for that!

:)

I must admit, it would be interesting to see the results of this cloning job!

Just not too close up, ROFLOL!

:)
