SEER: betting on sporting, political and social events

The market of betting is replete with projects allowing to make money on sporting, social and political events. However, there are many fraudsters who deceive people and steal their money. As a result, people lose trust in betting. Can blockchain solve the problem?

The development team of SEER offers a single platform for users to earn money on different predictions. Election's outcome, the score of the nearest football match, a tour date of a rock band... SEER takes bets, let create decentralized apps, get a profit and protect yourself against risks.

The technical basis of SEER is dApps (decentralized applications) adapted to the peculiarities of the betting market. The users of the project use blockchain to protect personal data and to receive a payout in some seconds after the event. In comparison with traditional apps for betting, SEER operates on the basis of the decentralized version of Oracle, which takes into account the dynamics of bets and gives advice to users.

How does the ecosystem work?

Developers distinguish four levels which make up the structure of the SEER platform.

1. Nerve center. This is a basis of the program code of blockchain, which ensures prompt transactions and interaction of users of the SEER network and integrated dApps. The average speed of processing of one operation is 1,5 sec, it's possible to conduct up to 3,3 thousand transactions simultaneously. The instrument Graphene ensures the stability of the platform no matter how many active users there are.
2. SEER Core. The built-in Graphene system creates an ecosystem in which ordinary users, social networks, apps for betting and receiving payouts freely interact. The communication of users goes via the DPOS (Delegated Proof of Stake) protocol, which requires a minimum load for the confirmation of transactions.
3. Integration layer. This is a set of programs and settings allowing to integrate dApps of third-party developers without doing harm to the network. The task of this level is a successful interaction of interfaces of developers and owners of the betting market and prompt receiving the information about outcomes of events.
4. SDK layer. This is the fourth level containing instruments for the quick development of apps, support of users, configuration of the interface and addition of new functions. The creators of SEER are aimed to place the betting market in a single platform and protect users via blockchain.

The information about outcomes of events is updated by Oracle framework. A program "bridge" connects private blockchain architecture, Graphene, smart contracts, and outside events. Users of SEER are first who become aware of outcomes of events, make bets and receive payouts.

The prediction of each user is estimated according to his reputation, credit rating, historical data about the outcomes of such events, and also the information about possible false predictions. For example, the SEER participant got 100 tokens on his favorite football team, but his predictions have been wrong for five weeks. Oracle framework will assign a low rating to this bet notifying the user

Crowdsale and further development of the project
The team started to work on the SEER platform in 2016, the project was launched in October 2017, MVP of the platform was released in the first quarter of 2018. In the second semester, there became available the interfaces for third-party developers wishing to create dApps under the aegis of SEER.

The team has created 10 billion tokens which people will use to make bets, get an access to the platform, conclude smart contracts for further winning. In the ICO it's planned to collect up to 50 thousand ETH.
The biggest part of tokens (36%) will be sold in the ICO, each 20% will go to partners and developers of dApps, 19% is for an advertising campaign, 5% will go to users of the Pre-Sale.
The SEER project has a quite modest advertising campaign. There haven't been exact dates of the ICO and detailed description of the technology yet.
