Hello dear "Steemians"! How are you today? What are you doing this Sunday? Today, I decided to write a short article on developments in Serbia. Yesterday was held the tenth jubilee protest in Belgrade against the current regime. Dissatisfaction with the people does not erupt, protests spread across Serbia. You're probably wondering what the cause of the protest is. Below, I will explain how frustration and the emergence of citizens on the streets occurred.

Cause

After the fall of Milosevic's dictatorial regime in 2000, democracy was established through the democratic DOS block. One of the key people in that block was Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic. After the change of the regime of Slobodan Milosevic, everything from the root had to change. Slobodan Milosevic's regime can be compared to the current regime in Venezuela. The state was devastated then. The attempt by Prime Minister Djindjic to change the system based on corruption and crime ended with the 2003 assassination. The major changes were stopped. Today, almost 16 years after the murder, we must again fight against the regime based on corruption and crime. Institutions are totally ruined, as if they do not exist. One man, President Aleksandar Vucic, decides about everything in the country. The regime of the current president has been in power for 7 years. In those seven years, Serbia is constantly moving into a reverse. To make it clearer to you about what kind of person it is, you have a lot to know that the current president was an active participant in the regime of the infamous Slobodan Milosevic. Then as the Minister of Information. You probably know his monstrous statement from the nineties' wars in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He then said that for every killed Serb, 100 Muslims would be killed. Does not the statement resemble the Nazi regime?

After the reversal of 2008, from the pro-Russian politician and the great opponent of the European Union, he became a champion of the European Union. The reason for this is the naturally obsessive desire for power. In the period from 2008-2012 in the opposition and in 2012, his party and candidate for President Tomislav Nikolic won the democratic candidate and then the current president Boris Tadic. In parliamentary elections, his party takes the majority and a government is formed with a coalition partner, a socialist party, a former dictator Slobodan Milosevic's party. Vucic becomes Defense Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister. Then he starts his sudden rise. It all happens in 2012.

Next time I will write about his rise in 2012-2019, as well as about the dictatorship and collapse of all institutions in that period. As well as the poverty and liberties of people who almost no longer exist. The free mind has become undesirable here. Crime and corruption are the main levers of government.
