Customer: "Hi, can you tell me how many Office packages we have?"

Me: "Ermm? No. How many computers and laptops do you have? How many of those have Office on? That'll tell you how many you have."

Customer: "Oh, I was hoping you knew?"

Me: "No, we can't keep a record of every customer, and even if we did, what if you bought stuff from elsewhere? How would we know what you had?"

Customer: "Oh."

Me: "Have you got a machine without Office then?"

Customer: "Yeah, I was hoping we had a spare license."

Me: "You will have when you buy a copy."
