Statue outside of the old post office at Clemson University called "and then there was war".

The figure on the left depicts a student and on the right the same student as a soldier.   

During WWII Clemson College ( about 2000 students at the time) produced more officers for the war effort than any other institutions except for West Point and Texas A&M.
