Shadow Rank Policy Update!
For members with up to 25 Steem Power(SP), you can earn up to 25 Shadow Rank (SR). If you were above that we apologize but the new RC/HF20 upgrade has caused a lot of changes and we have to adapt as well.
Members over 25 SP and under 100 SP can earn up to 1/2 their total SP in addition to the base 25 SR. For example, a member with 50 SP may earn their base 25 SR + FLOOR(50 SP) = 37 SR max. A user with 100 SP can earn up to 25 + 50 SR or 75 SR total. Powering up above 100 allows the old system of SR to kick in and ensure you get even more!
This upgrade is due in part because of HF20 and our new anti abuse system! We had to adjust and make sure all our members were able to get fairly treated! This new policy will go into effect October 12, 2018 to give everyone a day to adapt!

I have 197 effectively SP and only 29 SR
Those are maximum caps described above. You still have to earn your way up there.

The best way is contributing to Steem! Making great posts, managing your VP/RC and ensuring that you are adding to your Steem Power every week. We monitor all activity and determine the amount you provide to other Steemians and ShadowBot Members versus what you get in return. If you are giving more than you get, over time you see your Shadow Rank increase to account for that. This is our anti-abuse mechanism. It prevents new users from joining and draining our pool's VP then leaving and providing nothing to our members. It is how we keep the platform free and the entire concept behind ShadowBot!

As I commented above, those are SR caps (maximums), not automatic placement based on SP. For example, I've been in Shadowbot a long time and are only in the sixties. My cap is much higher, but I had to work up to it.

devs put up the ranks of their own accounts outside of ranking system and took more votes than system pool priorty was showing
my account was higher ranked than jonbit in pool priority at the time yet my posts recived $3 and his posts recived $9
i also had 10k STEEM POWER leased at the time so i was contributing 10 X 0.45 votes a day to shadowbot = $4.50 a day
as you can see from the images in the post after a month dev accounts were boosted up 10 -20 -40 ranks with most other users being increased by 1 rank
If you feel we are unfair why do you remain a member? We have been working hard and asked you 100 times to help with suggestions. Instead you attacked our members falsely claiming they are part of our team and calling downvote bots to hurt them. Your account has been reset to new member status. IF you have issues or believe there is something wrong you can let us know through our support ticket and work with us. That is what we asked you the first 100 times..
Members who you claim are part of our team are not. staticinstance has 0 affiliation with us and provides a LOT of SP to all our members as does everyone you show in your screenshots. You are making up lies to justify your downvote/flag war and all out attack on our members and core team. You went after people who are not even part of the team falsely accusing them since they provide a LOT of SP and are long time members. If you play by the rules you get rewarded. But you would not stop harassing our members so your rank was reduced. As stated we reset you (despite what some people think we should have done) so you can start earning again. Choice is yours.
You ignored when we tried to explain how the system worked. You had no sp, didn't make many post and complained about not getting upvotes for post you never made. You get 10k delegation when knowing you would only get half value and you down voted members. It's like you just wanted to fight. We kept telling you if you don't like the system you can leave and explained to you how to leave yet you're still here? Scam? I don't think you think it's a scam, I think you're like a child creating drama to get attention because you're not getting special treatment. You can pull all of your accounts out and join somewhere else that's better.....oh wait, that's right you're still here because this is the best place to be at the moment. You see oricaless your actions speak louder then your words, you lie to get what you want and when you don't get it you try and create more drama and to be honest I think you need professional help, get on medication. Oh and another thing, It seems you have an infatuation with me, the photo art I do takes a lot of work, time and talent to create. Photography by it self stands on it's own legs but I don't just do photography I change things a round like skies, mountains, lakes, brush in using a digital brush, re creating trees grass to repair damaged photos to name a few things that takes a long time to learn how to do. I do this on my own time on the side. Can you do that? I would love to see you're hours to days of work on your photo art..... Why can't you be one of them good stalkers that sends money and love letters to show you're appreciation lol

That proves nothing. If you would of asked me I would of said do put it into SP, our point was to self invest long term and not short term. We have a rule that limits delegation. If you don't like that rule you can pull all of your accounts out and leave. Why haven't you done this yet i wonder? i complained multiple times on discord on steem and your support channals
every time i was told to wait and see votes come that never did
had delegation for 2 weeks and when asked @jonbit was told wait a few days for it to register in group even though it was 14 days already
@bigdeej (lead dev) does not even use discord and has asked numerous times to open support tickets for this reason. If you don't want to open a support ticket then continue complaining here and bashing our members and our platform.
