Blocktivity.info shows #steem ABOVE #bitcoin in terms of transactions per day

#share2steem and #eos as the number 1 by far, at over 23 million transactions today, with a record of 80 million in a day, d an average of 30 million transactions a day. And no EOS does not sacrifice anything for this speed, just like a 747 does not have to sacrifice anything compared to a DC3 to go as fast as it does. The Jet Engines and newer technology let's the faster plane achieve its accomplishments just like EOS has its advanced #dpos engine to allow it to reach "supersonic" #blockchain speeds unheard of in #ethereum which is based on relatively ancient #proofofwork which #bitcoin uses but it's not meant for #smartcontracts and decentralized super computing. Eos uses 21 Block Producers just like steem has 20 Witnesses and they are voted in by actual stake holders... so the chain and voting on these representatives of stake holders is as decentralized as the distribution of the coin... sometimes you will prefer a chain to have a solid majority so you can develop faster and have a tie breaker but then again no one from Bitcoin world wants to invest in steem if Ned Scott CEO owns aprox 30% of the steem or HALF the staked Steempower, aprox 90 million SP out of the aprox 180 million total SP which is 180 out of aprox 300 million TOTAL steem... thers a large chunk of steem not powered up... on eos I believe @block.one_official has more like 10% of this total 1 billion Eos and they also vote for block producers thus being a tie breaker in a sense but not as powerful per capita as ned Scott's position in steem. As steem goes back up in price from bitcoin bull market this year and next, ned Scott will then start selling his stake to other whales and will distribute that steem out so the stake is not so centralized in his hands. That's just my guess.

Anyway steem and eos outperform all the other blockchains and here is the proof:
