Bitcoin is teh centralized chain, DPOS is thge most decentralized with 21 witnesses/ Block Producers whiel Bitcoin has what 4 or 5 major mining pools,
you say centralized but you really mean to say "wealth stratified" and sorry but the UIS dollar is also held in hands of a minority, all currencies stocks are liek that, the rich own the majority, and thats how it should be,
but EOS has real governance and a real community with MANy powerful users spread out between all the 20/21 block producers/Witnesses like here on steem
, unlike Bitcoin with Blockstream and thats it.....
Sorry but Bitcoin DOES need EOS to scale because its certainly not working with Lightening network WHICH defeats the WHOLE purpose of Bitcoin by teh way.... why even use lightening network if you believe in Bitcoin?

King? What about when Ethereum ALMOST replaced Bitcoin and everyone was talking about the FLippening? It came very close and EOS will do teh same thing.... I mean heck even Ripple almost became #1 marketcap coin at one point.... Theres no guarantee bitcoin remains #1 marketcap coin especially when you see what EOS does with the mass nonbinding and their new dapp, and their 4 billion which much will be used for advertising/marketing not just for eos but all crypto, so bitcoin shoudl thank EOS for saving it, otehrwise bitcoin would never be mainstream adopted without EOS to allow it to scale with EBTC ....... eos and steem will be for the masses, no one will own bitcoin buta tiny minorty of wealthy peopel and you will need massive KYC ALM just to cash outany Bitcoin in teh future while youll be able to earn steem andeos andjust spend it on stuff since no cash will even be used in teh future AND Bitcoin will be blocked as it has too much of a sketchy darknet past as used for drug dealing and since you CAN replace it with EOS they will.... Did you not see hwo easy Bitcoin was almost replaced by Ethereum and Ripple? Just wait untill Bitcoin goes up against facebook .... I mean theersplenty of ways for Bitcoin to loose its #1 posiution, it will not fail but it wont always be #1
DPOS tho is more decentralzied than Bitcoin
Bitcoin is here to stay and will be used in the near future by the mainstream population with the Lightning Network. I agree with you that EOS and Steem will help for mass adoption with application like Actifit for an example.
