I use it everyday for my food account but I would like to say this. To me it is not about getting more current steemit members to use it. It is absolutely the "killer" app to grow this community. Using it for outreach to bring instagram influencers into our community is the way to grow both. It is a no brainer as a marketing tool and in turn those instagram users will be the ones who use share2steem the most.

With the account creation system in place, we will soon begin active promotion on external networks.
We still need to improve a bit the user experience and put in place some features we think are necessary before trying to onboard a lot of new users for whom Steem is totally unknown.
But I agree with your assessment, we're just trying to retain current users and attract new Steemian users / delegators before everything is ready to start external "recruitement".
It is for sure the game changing app for steem. It will catch on. Instagram influencers don't make as much on instagram as we think. We need to encourage them to link up and see what happens in their steemit wallets.

I suppose if it were to work in the opposite, where my Steem posts would get shared to Twitter automatically, that would probably be of more use to me than the other way around.
Hi ! It's planned. It will take some time, but it will be done.
Feel free to look at Tweem's code for crossposting from Steem to Twitter. I may even use Share2Steem in the future to crosspost from Steem to Twitter instead of my script, will have to see how configurable it will be though (custom links, templates, etc...). Hopefully it will be configurable enough for me to stop worrying about updating Tweem.
The last I checked the 10% is a little put off for me. Probably a reduction to 7% would make me use it more often. Anyway still a good app and keep up the good work guys.
Hi ! The fee stays the same but we implemented a feature 2 weeks ago.
If our fee is superior to what we bring to your post in value (@share2steem upvote + upvotes from our trails), you get compensated (we upvote you via tipu the difference), so that nobody "loses" anything.
Nice to understand this. Thanks for the reply. Looks like I need to re-evaluate my posting strategy. I have seen this TipU upvotes in my comments but did not dig deeper. As a new user I am only scraping the surface for methods and direction in the Steem system
Yes, it can be a bit complicated and we do not explain everything clearly on our side (for now). It's a work in progress to make all features known and clearly explained to everyone.
In the meantime, just know we are doing our best to satisfy everyone and it wouldn't be in our interest to allow people to "lose" money while losing our application.
