MORNING SPARKLE

We have had a couple of days of moderate to heavy rainfall up here in the Northwest. When I got up this morning, the sun was starting to rise up over the mountains and had just touched the top of some of our cedar trees in the front yard.

This is what I saw. All of the tree tops of the cedars and evergreens were sparkling like diamonds in the early morning sunshine due the rain we had overnight.

You might could mistake them for a 'silver thaw' (ice storm) but it wasn't cold enough for that. (thank goodness!)

These last 3 pictures are pretty much the same, but as I was taking them, I realized the little white clouds were literally flying by.
