Smartphone Photography Challenge - Roadside Chains and Posts

Hi steemit friends,

For my entry into today's smartphonephotography challenge, I am sharing a photo that I took a couple of weeks ago while I was out for a walk with my girlfriend at a local nature park in our area. We were spending a few hours of our morning trying to capture some nice pictures around the environment, especially as the trees still had many of their beautiful, colourful leaves. While we were going, we came up to a bridge that featured this pattern of chains and posts on either side, so as to prevent cars from accidentally driving off the street into the water. These posts don't look too strong though, so I'd imagine that they are mostly just there for show. The speed limit in the park is also only about 25 km/h so cars certainly shouldn't ever be flying off of the road and into the water!

Those leaves that you can see in the background are definitely all gone now though, as all day today, we have been experiencing a relentless downpour and house-shaking winds - yikes! Luckily I have been tucked away indoors, keeping nice and warm and getting lots of Netflix watching in...
