Smartphone Photography Challenge - Two New Mugs

Hi Steem friends,

For my entry into today's smartphonephotography challenge, I'm sharing a photo that I took this afternoon after buying a couple of brand new mugs that were on sale. With things being so cold this winter you really can never have too many mugs! These ones aren't the biggest mugs ever, but they do hold a regular sized drink pretty easily and they hold the heat in pretty nicely too.

The main thing that caught my eye about these mugs was the colour palette. These pastel-coloured mugs give off a nice early-morning vibe and compliment each other nicely with their light red/light blue dynamic. The speckles that you can see in the paint of these mugs is also neat - it gives them a more interesting look that just a plain solid colour.

Well I think I'm going to go brew some tea now to break these mugs in!
