Last Day for FREE SNAX Tokens!
Okay, so if you're like me, you keep seeing all these SNAX Authentication posts everywhere. Apparently, people are signing up for SNAX, a social media based application that uses blockchain to reward your activity on the social media platforms you're already using. Part of the sign up process is copy/pasting registration info to a Steem post to prove you're the owner of that account.
Well, alright. That sounds nifty. I'll bite.
So I made my authentication post. I linked my new SNAX account to Twitter.
Cool. I'm digging the easy onboard experience so far.
And now...what's this? Huh.
Now that I'm registered, the first thing I see is a STEEM bounty. What's that about? Okay, so it looks like the bounty program started on May 6, and it ends...
...June 10.
Hmmm. Wait.
THAT'S TOMORROW!!!
I'm in full FOMO now! Tell me what to do, SNAX People! TELL ME!
Here's what the website says to do:
Write a short post about Snax on Steem, more than 1000 symbols long.
Add the "snaxBountyProgram" tag to the post.
Okay, well that doesn't sound too hard. What do I get out of this panic-induced investment in time and creative writing? It looks like the folks at SNAX provided a convenient slider to estimate the SNAX reward.
I don't know what the average follower count is for the typical STEEM user, so I just moved it to 500. Hopefully, that will give you an idea or comes close to the number of followers you have. If not, go play with the slider yourself!
So there you go. If you were thinking of getting a SNAX account, I guess now's the time. If you end up reading this post after June 10, don't worry. You still get some free SNAX by signing up with Steem and/or Twitter.
What do you do with SNAX once you have some? I dunno. You can send/receive the SNAX among other SNAX users.
Their road map outlines 3rd party exchange integration later this year.
Now go spam your followers with an authentication post, haha.
