The Brainstorming: The Alexandria's Library Project (TALP)
The term "library" appears to be used in a wide variety of aspects now, from the brick-and-mortar public library to the digital library. Public libraries - and indeed, all libraries - are changing and dynamic places that librarians help people find the best way to obtain information whether it can be a book, an internet site, or database entry.
A library can be considered a store - house of knowledge. In dictionaries the term "library" has recently been defined as "a building or room containing a collection of books". A library offers a real great service to the society. There are a sizable quantity of Public Libraries managed by local authorities throughout the globe.
A library plays a very important role in promoting the progress expertise. There are many people who love reading. But they aren't able to afford to buy books because the prices are incredibly high.
As an active steemian, I know and I can attest a huge number of quality writers are here. However, only a few of these individuals are acknowledged and valued. Why? Due to the reason that their posts were left unincentivized. With their huge initiatives but with unfair recognition, Most of them left the working platform. It is sadness, indeed. It is though a reality. Of course, I know there are projects as well running in Steemit curating worthy post. However, these projects aren't enough to cover and cater all deserving posts. That's truth! Absolutely, this does not stop us from creating the project.
Having said those, a project Alexandria's Library came into existence. This is certainly to gather useful and quality posts that would practically ensure that our library of information. Just like the library you adore, this project would give all of us sufficient information.
The Alexandria's Library Project is initiated by @jhnmunoz and was introduced to @sndbox summer camp.

Mission
To search, reward and collect in the STEEM blockchain quality content in matters of Philosophy, History, Science and Literature; under the shelter of a structured community.
Vision
To consolidate a system of archived information in the STEEM blockchain that evokes what was supposed to be the majestic Library of Alexandria: the greatest storehouse of valuable knowledge in antique times.
The @alexandrias-lib Account
We decided to create the @alexandrias-lib account for easier curation. This will be the official account to curate quality contents related to Philosophy, History, Science and Literature. We'll utilize this account too to promote quality works weekly, to conduct contests, just likely how @sndbox account works.

Everything is planned yet we are still finalizing everything for improvement. This is how our discussion goes though...

Planned Contests
We are always all set to be on the ride to conduct contests. First, it will be regarding cool library profiles and what makes these libraries differ or standout from the others. Steemians can write these in their own native language. We're going to let you know soon what are the different languages the team know, to leave not your hard work wasted. Second, we are looking forward for a Logo contest. Rules will be set soon too. More is coming so keep alert.

We all are more than open to any suggestions. In the event that you have something in mind, please drop it below. We will look into it intently.
