I have been excited about the potential of being a part of SNDbox since I heard about it 6 months ago. I jumped at the possibility of joining the incubator this year and got into the "Final Quest" which is a group project.

Being adventurous, I chose the Mystery Project 2 which ended up being a "Project that Promotes STEEM".

Here is the initial post that I did 11 days ago explaining the project and what the task for our group is.

We wanted to highlight the radical aspect of the blockchain that awards engaged community members, whether through creative content, curation or investment returns. The STEEM blockchain holds so much potential to be revolutionary in the lives of many who currently engage and share on social media platforms.

The initial brainstorming took quite a bit of time. As mentioned in my previous article, our team had a bit of a different task as we didn't have a visionary leader who had already established a project aim, name and title. We toyed around with names and ultimately chose:

What I did in a Nutshell

I took a leadership and guidance role in the group assessing everyone's strengths and seeing where their unique skills and talents fit in best and what they were interested in doing. In this way, I kept on the organization and goal setting of what needed to be done, who was doing it, what progress they were making and how it fit into the whole. I also did a lot of early brainstorming in deciding the vision, scope, and focus of the project. And, in the end, I edited each person's contribution in the final article which @iamjadeline wrote the introduction to as well as many other sections and will be posting soon!

WHO ARE WE?

We are a powerful and inspirational force promoting the Steem blockchain through magnetic videos and educating the next generations of Steem users via written tutorials and videos (and using Discord for FAQ, feedbacks, workshops, discussion and brainstorming if needed). We aim to not just reach the technical-people, but the non-technical people as well.

We are a group of select individuals from around the world with various expertise and a diverse set of skills. Together we stand at the juncture of the old paradigms to harold the arrival of a radical and transformative new technology that is the STEEM blockchain. Here we act as gatekeepers translating the STEEM ecosystem making it accessible and easily understood so that everyone can have a chance to do what they love, and at the same earn some STEEM and/or SBD.

WHAT IS OUR MISSION?

Our mission is to promote the STEEM blockchain on a global scale by making this new and often complex technology accessible to everyone.

LIFEofSTEEM clarifies key components of STEEM by highlighting the potential of abundance of this new technology, and the propensity for individuals to get rewarded by doing what you love and sharing it. It is our mission to create an online hub where we educate and inspire those who are willing to put in hard work, and to activate those who invest in the technology and contribute their part to the growth of STEEM ecosystem.

With a few minor hiccups along the way, I am happy with how our group started to really groove and get along by the end. As expected, we had a talented bunch with @vadimlasca & @maverickinvictus leading up the promotional video ideas. Stay tuned to hear the videos!

I'm looking forward to seeing the other projects and hearing how their processes were. I wish everyone good luck and know that whatever project is chosen will be a positive force on the STEEM blockchain. This process signified for me the ability for many to come together to unify into a real commUnity to produce something bigger than themselves. As more and more of this happens on the blockchain, we all win and grow stronger together!
