Attending a soccer match: Vitesse - Feyenoord

Yesterday I went to the stadium together with my youngest son, my father in law, a friend of my son and my best friend Ronnie.

We went to the game between Vitesse and Feyenoord. My son is a big fan of Feyenoord while I am a Ajax supporter, that gives funny situations at home. I am not that kind of supporter that I hate the other clubs, not at all. I just like Ajax better with the kind of soccer they play. So when we arrived at the stadium we really had some cool seats, near the field.

Vitesse was the hosting club, Feyenoord visited them. For that all the Feyenoord supporters had to sit in a shielded area, awy from the supporters of Vitesse. Sadly it seems to be necessary because rival clubs often try to provoke eachother.

It was funny to see the Feyenoord supporters trying to get trough the glass windows which separated from the other supporters. The fence is obviously build for that kind of impact because it lasted :)

The match wasn't spectacular, both the teams created some shot's at the goal but the soccer itself wasn't that good. Feyenoord made the first goal, a beauty. But in the second half Vitesse scored one too, a much less great goal but a point is a point..

The most important was that we had a great time together :) And that's what we did... Enjoyed it very much, despite the result...
