What Klopp has said Mohamed Salah

Jurgen Klopp the manager has acknowledged that his star striker Mohamed Salah, is going through a bad cycle. Although Klopp is unhappy with his game. Salah has come into this season after a record-breaking 44 goals last season. The larger concern would be with the chances he is missing. Last season he would normally dispatch these kinds of chances clinically.

But just few hours before visiting Napoli’s intimidating “Stadio San Paolo”, Klopp also knows it is normal for strikers to lose form.

Klopp has come with some changers to help Salah. However, he refused to convey the detail on exactly what he has said to Salah that will help him. Being a wonderful manager who has helped build and rebuild the confidence of some of the world best, Robert Lewandowski, he knows the answer lies in being patient.

What Klopp has said he told him “Be relaxed, completely relaxed, because there is no need for anything else. The quality is there and so everything is fine. My problem is if I say now that I spoke to Mo then tomorrow all the people will be guessing what I said to him and that makes it much bigger. This is not information for here it is between us, always. My interest is to have him in a completely normal mindset.”

He added: “If you play tennis and your forehand is good and the next day your forehand is not there you think, ‘What is it?’, “That’s how sport works. It is about your confidence.”
