It seems to me that the story never changes. The claim is always the same. It was just not tried properly yet that is why it doesn't work. A long time ago back in my homeland of Poland, I have had a teacher. One of those true educators that often would deviate from the given script. A heated discussion erupted along the lines covered in this video. I will never forget the question that this elderly man who lived through the communism presented to us. Ladies and gentlemen, we know that human desires are infinite but the resources and the means of processing them are finite in this world. What mechanism do you propose to prevent the "Eventually Scenario" if everyone is entitled to everything, everywhere at all times?
Unfortunately, we are starting to see this dilemma playing itself out all around the globe. Eventually, you will run out of other people's money, other people's neighbourhoods, other people's labor.

This is the double bind of liberalism. The only solution I can see is to reject the materialism which grew up with liberalism since the Enlightenment. The tricky part though is finding out which part of spirituality can solve this particular issue...No, a return to irrational and illogical religious dogma won't do it and we've seen this tried recently under the guise of neoliberal spiritual propaganda. No, the only solution to the problem of liberalism and scale is a proper understanding of The Golden Rule. If one understood what it truly meant it would mean you couldn't practice usury (even the Jews in the old testament understood this but they only practiced the Golden Rule amongst their tribe) which is the foundation of modern statism. The whole Statist model is predicated on usury. A new way of creating money is needed along with a new mindset which doesn't view other people or life forms as a means only.
That is deep. I have to agree that the practice of usury is detrimental to any society which engages in it (not just the host), it is parasitic in its nature (without inspiration or creativity). Without a host the parasite is unable to provide for itself and dies. Spirituality won't solve this issue. The worlds religions have been predators on the uninformed since their respective inceptions. This is biological, Darwinism/Survival of the fittest. Either you as an individual, have discernment and are spared from being "goyim" or you will forever be producing for the parasite (this includes the state). The only real money is gold/silver and maybe SOME cryptos (grid dependent). To answer your question, the answer to the "Eventually Scenario" is the same as it has always been, "might makes right"! The "winners" get to survive and whitewash history (think Canaanites).
Jim Carrey has always made me laugh with his korniness, but ultimately I don't think his socio-economic opinions are great, I think they're quite deadly. shrugs
I don't think Carrey has to apologize for anything. There are bigger bastards out there. Much bigger ones.
"Fight the Slander"? that sounds worse than a war on drug. Yeah, let's start a war on words. Jim Carry kind looked like he was learning far left when I first saw this crap in 2010.
Freedom of speech? If you don't respect someone just because you're personal belives you may have a little problem.
Steemit is socialism by definition so do you understand that you are overreacting? To much hate in this video and this is the first time when i belive that a mind control took over Dollar Vigilante i got little sick when i see this video .

Unfortunately to many people especially those who watch a lot of tv and mainstream media will listen to someone like Carrey and believe whatever stupidity comes out of there mouths.
