The "Culture of Hate" Disseminated on Social Networks

A negative feeling that has become culture in our day: Hate. Something so common in comments, posts and conversations on social networks. Curse, mock, demote, show at all costs that the other person is wrong, verbal assaults, insinuations.

This whole "menu" that years ago seemed unimaginable to happen in the virtual environment of the internet, has become a "culture", almost a "rule of etiquette" with the mass adoption of social networks.

Today, the comment box that sits below each post has become a "battlefield." A person comments on their opinion about some news or post and there is one or more people in the reply wanting to prove how much this person (who she never saw in life) is wrong, is prejudiced and should not think that way. Oh, really?

Through a philosophy only created in social networks, those that reply the opinion of the commentator or creator of a post, try anyway to prove to the public how much the author of the comment or post deserves a "virtual sanding" or be sentenced in the court of " Holy Inquisition of the Internet ". Hilarious!

The aggression, swearing and hatred reciprocal we have seen in recent years on social networks seem to be symptoms of a society that is sick. No one else talks or cares about the other, no one else wants to know your history, where you came from, where you are and where you are going, what your struggles were, what your victories were, defeats.

What matters to these people who judge is a prejudgment based on a moment's opinion made by someone on such subject and this image is that remains and that must be perpetuated forever.

Critical times we are passing in our interpersonal relationships, be they real or virtual. There is no longer respect, no notion of limitation of interference in the property of others (the other is not your property), and no sense that aggression against another peaceful individual should not be initiated. Everything has become allowed, everything is "of the law".

From this "culture of hate" I want to run away.
