Surpassing 2017 solar production already
I've been posting about the production of my solar system a couple of times now. I like to keep doing that when I reach certain milestones and records. Today is such a moment again.
Yesterday the system reached the total production of my system of the full year of 2017. With more than 100 days in 2018 to go, that is quite early. Below you can see the cumulative production per month for all years of my PV-system. Thanks to the good spring ans summer months, the (ongoing) September bar already surpassed the 2017 total. When you look at 2016, you can see that I need 90 kWh more to surpass that (record) total as well. Based on current and historical production that should take 3 to 4 weeks.
Another interesting fact can be seen below. Although the yearly production is not yet as high as in 2016, the yield in euro's in 2018 is already the best ever. This is mainly because the electricity price has gone up this year. You could argue that a higher electricity price hence is a positive thing for people with solar panels.
The total production is worth €465 now. It would be interesting to see whether I can reach €500 this year.
It is indeed a great year for solar panel holders.
Our did produce 2317.85kWh so far this year. I don't have any figures from last year but due to a new convertor I do think that we also surpassed the production of last year!
Guess it is time to claim some money from the Belgian government :)
Most likely you surpassed it as well. I'm at 2,239 so not too far behind.
Always nice to also claim some money from your government instead of only paying ;)
