I wrote this song quite a few years ago, at a turning point in my life… before making a big leap. Don’t have my guitar with me to record this, but I'm hoping @sircork will hook me up at the Nashville Steemit meetup next weekend so I can play this for y’all.

I’m on vacation at the moment, so I gotta use what I got. ;)
It was fun climbing up in my beloved oak to get this shot.
This was pre-hurricane Katrina, before this tree lost a few limbs,
to give you an idea of how long it's been.
Wrote this song sometime around then...

The world needs to climb trees more☺ A storm can do a lot of things and am glad it is still standing?? Our mango tree was almost uprooted but still bearing fruits🤣
Thu storms are constant and can be debilitating...still it's up to US..depending on how we are spiritually.
Yes, I think the world needs to respect trees more... climb them, hug them, enjoy them... stop cutting them down and plant more. Yes, last I checked (a year ago) this tree was still standing. It's a beauty. I'm glad your mango tree is still bearing fruit. Trees are so amazing, and they help me feel grounded—connected to this beautiful planet.
A friend cries when she see a dead tree. Do you know of the movie "Seraphine"? She's a tree-hugger.
We definitely need them for their usages, but if we cant leave them alone, we surely must know how to plant replacements. Ideally.
