Small patches of ice on the red dunes, Mars
The above photograph of the red dunes surrounding the Red Planet’s North Pole is taken by NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, in which you can see the small quantity of dry ice found on the red dunes. In winter season, this dry ice covers all over the red dunes and starts fading away at the early days of summer season.
