Typical Canarian church Ermita de San Telmo in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, Spain
A beautiful small white chapel right next to the sea, this is the Ermita de San Telmo in Puerto De La Cruz. Puerto is a little coastal town and municipality in the northern part of the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. Puerto de la Cruz was formerly known by its English translation, "Port of the Cross", although now it is known in all languages by its Spanish name.
The chapel provided spiritual comfort to sailors since 1780. The chapel has undergone substantial restoration work in recent times to repair the ravages of more than 200 years of close proximity to the sea. In my opinion it is the most picturesque and photogenic church in Puerto de la Cruz.
It is now a focal point for the German speaking catholics in Puerto De La Cruz. They have restored this place of prayer and devotion to a high standard. It is a sanctuary away from all the resort commercialism. Worth a few minutes to savour the peace and tranquillity it offers. It´s an amazing sunny spot for enjoying views along Puerto’s promenade and the last resting place of the victims of a storm.
Don´t miss this lovely little building overlooking the Atlantic Ocean when you are in Tenerife!

Kanárské ostrovy jsou fajn :) Je to zajímavé místo, kde se člověk dle mého názoru může parádně zrelaxovat. Našel jsem tam klid na pláži apod. :) Pěkné fotky!

No koma 😂 Ja uz si popravde nepamatuji na kterem z nich ;-) ale bylo tam hezky... akorat ja mam proste strasne rad odlisne kultury, coz je pro me spise smerem na vychod :-) mozna to zni hloupe, ale proste to tak mam :-P
