A bit late but happy to be able to participate in this contest by @suesa, and I hope that this post everyone likes.
I think I can not say that there are one or more incredible moments lived in 2018, because particularly 2018 was a very special and different year for me, I discovered things, I learned others and as a result of many of these events that happened. For me, many important things changed for me, especially my personal things related to this Steemit platform.
To explain why these personal appreciations I want to tell you some things that happened to me before 2018 to get into context. At the end of 2016 I entered a depression due to the end of a relationship with a partner with whom I was for a long time, and in that moment I realized many things that disappointed me about her and the relationship. I spent a lot of time with this depression, and it was around May of 2017 when I started attending various psychology consultations. Among the psychologists who treated me, I met @rafalex51, who diagnosed me with Asperger, which explained many things that I experienced in the past, the things that continue to happen to me today, plus all the depression caused by the breakup.
He prescribed me a good treatment with meditations, and I remember that in December of 2017, between the conversations after the last consultation of that year, he spoke for the first time about the Steemit platform and all the benefits that this platform generated. I confess that what impressed me most was the fact of making money simply by creating content that receives votes. And the money in dollars expressed in dollars, although it was not until the end of January of the following year when I opened my account and from there all this adventure started in the blockchain, and all the things that I come to tell you about this participation in the contest.

The year 2018 came and, at the end of January, I opened my account in Steemit, just a week before attending a meeting in Steemit, because that week @rafalex51 invited me to attend the meeting that was to be held in a Mac Donald's local that is relatively close to the road I take to go to my house. So in that same week I opened my account in Steemit, and I review only a few things, since I could not configure my profile because I did not know how to do it. When the day came to attend the meeting and I went to the site, I met @elinderzambrano, who was the speaker that day, and many other people, among whom I want to mention @edsinestragos, who is a great singer and who shared with us all his experiences in the platform contests and he told us how he developed his musical projects thanks to Steemit.
In this way, I was able to know a little more about what this platform really does, and I knew it could be a way to finish developing my career as a musician (I am a four player and composer), and that's when all the adventure. From that day, everything was a race against time because I had many motivations, but the main one was to carry out a project with which I have worked for many years, and this was my opportunity. It was then that I saw that I had to learn to do many things to adjust, among other things, to the basic rules required by support communities.
In a week I learned the basics of the language of reduction, and I took pictures, because I recognize that I was indifferent with that for a long time, but now things had to change, those first pictures I take are the pictures of my profile. Then I delved into more techniques to edit better with markdown, since I had not yet made my first publication, I had to do it soon and I opened my account in Discord chat. Several weeks later, I attended another meeting where I met @theghost1980, who has a great career on this platform and was one of the speakers that day, and that day my mind expanded much more than I could have imagined, in terms of All the possibilities that exist in this platform.
Primero que nada saludos y feliz año 2019 para todos, espero que hayan pasado unas muy felices fiestas, que hayan disfrutado estas navidades en compañía de sus familias, porque en estas fechas una de las cosas más importantes es la familia, y no solamente compartir y divertirnos con ellos, sino también ir más allá de las cosas, haciendo que esos momentos navideños nos sirvan para fortalecer la unión y el amor con la familia. Un poco tarde pero feliz de poder participar en este concurso hecho por @suesa, y espero que este post les guste a todos ustedes.
Creo que no puedo decir que exista uno o algunos momentos más increíbles vividos en el 2018, porque particularmente el 2018 fue para mí un año muy especial y diferente, descubrí cosas, aprendí otras, y a raíz de muchas de estos eventos que me pasaron, muchas cosas importantes cambiaron para mí, especialmente mis cosas personales concernientes a esta plataforma de Steemit.
Para explicarles el por qué de estas apreciaciones personales les quiero contar algunas cosas que me sucedieron antes del 2018 para entrar en contexto. A finales del 2016 entré en una depresión por una ruptura que tuve con una pareja con la que estuve por mucho tiempo, y en esa ruptura me di cuenta de muchas cosas que me decepcionaron de ella y de la relación. Pasé mucho tiempo con esta depresión, y fue aproximadamente desde mayo del 2017 que comencé a asistir a varias consultas de psicología. Entre los psicólogos que me atendieron conocí a @rafalex51, quién me diagnosticó Asperger, lo cual explicó muchas cosas que viví en el pasado, las cosas que me siguen pasando hasta hoy, más toda la depresión que me generó la ruptura.
Me mandó un buen tratamiento con meditaciones, y recuerdo que en Diciembre del 2017 entre conversaciones después de la última consulta de ese año, me habló por primera vez sobre la plataforma de Steemit y todas las bondades que generaba dicha plataforma. Confieso que lo que más me llamó la atención fue el hecho de ganar dinero solo por crear contenido recibiendo votos. Y dinero en dólares expresados en steem, aunque no fue sino hasta finales de enero del año siguiente en que abrí mi cuenta y desde ahí comenzó toda esta aventura en la blockchain, y todas las cosas que vengo a contarles para esta participación en el concurso.

Entró el año 2018, y a finales de enero fue que abrí mi cuenta en Steemit, justo una semana antes de asistir a un meetup sobre Steemit, ya que en esa semana @rafalex51 me hizo la invitación para asistir al meetup que iba a realizarse en un local de Mac Donald's que queda relativamente cerca del camino que tomo para ir a mi casa. Así que en esa misma semana abrí mi cuenta en Steemit, y solo revisé algunas cosas, ya que no podía configurar mi perfil porque no sabía cómo hacerlo. Cuando llegó el día de asistir al meetup y entré al sitio, conocí a @elinderzambrano, quién era el ponente ese día, y a muchas otras personas, entre las que quiero mencionar a @edsinestragos, que es un gran cantante y que compartió con nosotros todas sus experiencias en los concursos de la plataforma y nos contó cómo desarrolló sus proyectos musicales gracias a Steemit.
De esta manera pude conocer un poco más a fondo acerca de lo que realmente plantea esta plataforma, y supe que ésta podía ser una vía para terminar de desarrollar mi carrera como músico (soy cuatrista y compositor), y ahí comenzó toda la aventura. A partir de ese día todo era una carrera contra el tiempo porque tenía muchas motivaciones pero la principal era realizar un proyecto con el que he trabajado desde hace muchos años, y esta era mi oportunidad. Fue entonces que vi que necesitaba aprender a hacer muchísimas cosas para ajustarme entre otras cosas a las reglas básicas que exigen las comunidades de apoyo.
En una semana aprendí lo más básico del lenguaje markdown, y a tomarme fotos yo mismo, porque reconozco que fui indiferente con eso por mucho tiempo, pero ahora las cosas tenían que cambiar, esas primeras fotos que tome son las fotos de mi perfil. Después seguí profundizando en más técnicas para editar mejor con markdown, ya que aún no había hecho mi primer post, y tenía que hacerlo pronto, y abrí mi cuenta en el chat de Discord. Varias semanas después asistí a otro meetup donde conocí a @theghost1980, quién tiene una gran trayectoria en esta plataforma y era uno de los ponentes de ese día, y ese día se expandió mi mente mucho más de lo que pudiera imaginar, en cuanto a todas las posibilidades que existen en esta plataforma.

After much editing and writing, weeks later, I was finally able to start publishing, and I began to see the receptivity of the people on the platform and the communities that began to support me, whom I thank for giving me that support from the beginning, and also for support all of us who work hard on this platform. That was another thing I had to discover, that I already had a new job, where I could do everything I wanted and also make money with that. I kept attending the meetings and conversations about Steemit and the cryptocurrencies, and every day I had to study a little to be up to date with the platform and with this new emerging revolution called blockchain technology. It was difficult because it was a lot of work for me that I was just beginning, besides that I had to fulfill other commitments as a musician and also commitments in my house, but I could resist everything and be up to date.
At the end of June in Barquisimeto, which is the city where I live, there is another Steemit meeting, and this time the call came from @ theghost1980 at the bar Cocuy 2640, where there was a lot of talk about the platform and cryptocurrencies, I met several people , including @forjonell and @ abgrobert5, and after that meeting they began to shape what we now call the community of @steemitvenezuela, in which we integrate working as curators, supporting the content of all the Hispanic countries. I was interested in this work from the beginning because I knew that this was an opportunity to learn about what is done in a community and, consequently, to do something that I had always been looking for, which is to improve as a blogger. At that time, until December, I could not continue publishing content because I was working very hard on some articles that gave me a lot of struggle, between research, writing and a format change that I wanted to do to renew myself.

In September I entered as Venezuelan teacher in the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras of Venezuela, working in a primary school that is in front of my house, where I met wonderful people who have helped me a lot in things I did not know about that job. My experience cured me in terms of the internal conflicts I still had (although about 1 or 2 months ago I realized that I had finally overcome the depression at the end of 2016), especially with the treatment of children and the work we did.

I also joined the Ensamble Escaleno, but this time as a bass player, which was a responsibility for me since my main instrument is the cuatro, which I also play once in a while with them, but from that moment on everything has been satisfactory for me, it is a group that makes me feel proud because we make different music, based on a fusion proposal of Venezuelan music with several genres, and this allows me to be creative with everything I play, which is what I like most about music.
In December I was able to start publishing again but I had a mishap. My home computer was damaged and I could not connect anymore to the Internet from my house, so I had the challenge of going to all the cybercafes I could to work with my account and assume my responsibilities with the @steemitvenezuela community, and it was difficult because , in general, for what we all know about my country Venezuela, at Christmas almost all businesses stop working, so I had the risk of having to wait until January to continue working with my account.
Thank God, I found enough places to work safely, and I was able to succeed, but this was an experience that taught me that my account on the platform and all my equipment are resources, and resources must produce money.
And that is my challenge for this new year 2019 that is already beginning, to make all my resources produce money and create capital to carry out my projects. Since December, I have been working with the project that I mentioned in these lines, applying everything I learned on the platform and everything I learned with the @steemitvenezuela community, to prepare now and be able to give you good news soon.
Con el Ensamble Escaleno
Después de mucho editar y redactar, semanas después por fin pude comenzar a publicar, y comencé a ver tanto la receptividad de las personas en la plataforma como la de las comunidades que empezaron a apoyarme, a quienes agradezco por darme ese apoyo desde el principio, y apoyar también a todos los que trabajamos duro en esta plataforma. Esa fue otra cosa que me toco descubrir, que ya tenía un trabajo nuevo, donde yo podía hacer todo lo que quisiera hacer y además ganar dinero con eso. Seguí asistiendo a los meetups, y charlas sobre Steemit y las criptomonedas, y todos los días tenía que estudiar un poco para poder estar al día con la plataforma y con esta nueva revolución emergente llamada tecnología blockchain. Fue difícil porque era mucho trabajo para mí que estaba empezando, además de que tenía que cumplir con otros compromisos como músico, y también compromisos en mi casa, pero pude resistir todo y estar al día.
A finales de junio en Barquisimeto que es la ciudad donde vivo se realiza otro meetup de Steemit, y esta vez la convocatoria vino de parte de @theghost1980 en el bar Cocuy 2640, donde se habló bastante sobre la plataforma y las criptomonedas, conocí a varias personas, entre ellas @forjonell y @abgrobert5, y después de esa reunión se le empezó a dar forma a lo que hoy llamamos la comunidad de @steemitvenezuela, en la que nos integramos trabajando como curadores, apoyando el contenido de todos los países de habla hispana. Me interesó este trabajo desde el principio porque supe que esta era una oportunidad para aprender sobre lo que se hace en una comunidad, y en consecuencia hacer algo que había estado persiguiendo siempre, que es mejorar como blogger. En esa época hasta diciembre no pude seguir publicando contenido porque estaba trabajando muy duro en unos artículos que me dieron mucha pelea, entre investigaciones, redacción, y un cambio de formato que quise hacer para renovarme.
Fiesta navideña con docentes compañeros de trabajo
En septiembre ingresé como profesor de cuatro venezolano en el Sistema Nacional de las Orquestas Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela, trabajando en una escuela primaria que está al frente de mi casa, donde conocí a maravillosas personas que me han ayudado mucho en cosas que no dominaba mucho sobre ese trabajo. Y esta experiencia fue sanadora para mí en cuanto a conflictos internos que aún tenía (aunque hace como 1 o 2 meses me di cuenta que por fin había superado la depresión de finales del 2016), más que todo con el trato de los niños y el trabajo que hicimos.

También me integré al Ensamble Escaleno, pero esta vez como bajista, lo cual era toda una responsabilidad para mí ya que mi instrumento principal es el cuatro, el cual también lo toco con ellos de vez en cuando, pero desde ese momento todo ha sido satisfactorio para mí, es una agrupación que me hace sentir orgulloso porque hacemos música diferente, basada en una propuesta de fusión de música venezolana con varios géneros, y esto me permite ser creativo con todo lo que toco, que es lo que más me gusta en la música.
Al llegar diciembre pude comenzar a publicar de nuevo pero tuve un percance. La computadora de mi casa se dañó y no pude conectarme más a internet desde mi casa, por lo que tuve el reto de salir a todos los cibercafé que pudiese para trabajar con mi cuenta y asumir mis responsabilidades con la comunidad de @steemitvenezuela, y fue difícil porque generalmente por cosas que ya todos sabemos de mi país Venezuela, en la época de navidad casi todos los negocios dejan de trabajar, por lo que tenía el riesgo de tener que esperar hasta enero para seguir trabajando con mi cuenta.
Gracias a Dios encontré bastantes sitios donde trabajar seguro, y pude salir airoso, pero esta fue una experiencia que me enseñó que mi cuenta en la plataforma y todos mis equipos son recursos, y los recursos deben producir dinero.
Y ese es mi reto para este nuevo año 2019 que ya está empezando a transcurrir, hacer que todos mis recursos produzcan dinero y crear un capital para poder desempeñar mis proyectos. Desde diciembre he estado trabajando con el proyecto que les había mencionado en estas líneas, aplicando todo lo que he aprendido en la plataforma, y todo lo que aprendí con la comunidad de @steemitvenezuela, para prepararme desde ahora y poder traerles pronto buenas noticias al respecto.

Esto fue todo lo que me pasó en el 2018, y es por eso que les dije que no eran una sino muchas cosas increíbles las que me sucedieron en este año que pasó. Quizás si sean poquitas cosas en el fondo, pero para mí este año fue toda una odisea, un año de muchas cosas diferentes que me sorprendieron gratamente. Espero que cada uno de nosotros pueda alcanzar muchas cosas también en este año 2019, y que nada nos quite las ganas de trabajar y superarnos en esta plataforma que todavía tiene muchísimas cosas que ofrecernos.

musicavenezolana, y desde entonces no he parado. La delegación después expiró pero la que me dió el premio me dejó 500 SP para continuar con las curaciones, porque vió el trabajo que estaba haciendo.Y pronto vendrán más cosas nuevas para este proyecto, es solo cuestión de poco tiempo. Este cuento lo actualizaré en algún momento....jeje!
