Continuando con la serie Inglés para estudiantes, hoy analizaremos el uso del auxiliar Did para el tiempo pasado, comencemos.
Did tiene varios usos, se puede usar como:
Verbo principal
Auxiliar

Did

Pronombres	auxiliar o forma del verbo to do	Observaciones
I	did	_______ 1ra. Persona del singular
You	did	______ 2da.persona del singular
He	did	______ 3ra. persona del singular
She	did	______ 3ra. persona del singular
It	did	______ objetos, animales o cosas (impersonal)
We	did	______ , 1ra. persona del plural
You	did	______ , 2da. persona del plural
They	did	______ 3ra. persona del plural

Oraciones afirmativas

Ejemplo I did my homework yesterday (Yo hice mi tarea ayer)
He did his homework (El hizo su tarea)


entonces la manera de construir la oración afirmativa con did como verbo principal es:


Sujeto + (did + Oración

( S + did + O )

Oraciones Interrogativas

Did you do your homework yesterday?
(¿Hicistes tú tu tarea ayer?)


Did he read the book ?
(¿Leyó el el libro?)


La manera de construir la oración interrogativa utilizando el did como auxiliar es:


(Did)+ Sujeto +presente verbo principal+ Oración

(Did + S + presente verbo principal + O )

Oraciones negativas

No, i did not do my homework yesterday
(No, Yo no hice mi tarea ayer)
No, he did not read the book
(No + Sujeto + did + negación + presente verbo principal + oración


entonces la manera de construir la oración negativa con el did como auxiliar es:


No, + Sujeto+ did + negación + presente verbo principal + oración
(No, +S+ did + negación + presente verbo principal + O)

Contracciones

did not = didn´t
