The power of mental Silence

One of the most effective healing tools for our emotional and mental well-being I have been applying for several years now is that of practising mental Silence. I am not referring to some cozy meditation techniques whereby we indulge in some image reveries but to the dedication of our full focus onto uncompromisingly eliminating any incoming thoughts until we enter the void of thoughtlessness.

Suppressing our thoughts is not corresponding with escaping or stifling our emotions, but the exact opposite, because we allow the toxic energetic venom of the thought to be released. A thought gains energetic potency through becoming repetitive. Suppressing the thought breaks the repetition cycle, hence creates space for silence and energetic release. Finally, we can have the same thought but without any emotional attachment to it so that we are literally capable of overwriting our memory of certain past events in a way that serves our Soul growth most.

By practising so, the energetic essence of the venomous thought will be released incrementally, until the final let go thereof will result in a physically palpable liberation that makes us feel lighter, often taking place in shape of energetically convulsed muscle tissue being cleansed and relaxed to an extend that the energy can again flow freely through our body.
