It is beautiful when we share the Bible with others. We are called to do this out of gratitude for the one who created us. If we are truly followers of Christ we will have a passion to do this. God breathed life into us, his son Jesus, died for us. This is a small act of love we do compared to all that He has done for us.

In reading some of my old newspapers from my hometown, I was reminded of the bible reading marathon that goes on each year here in the state of Iowa. It is my understanding that this marathon will continue this year as well. I am sure other states do this across America. It is a worthwhile endeavor. We are able to share the word of God to those who may not know of it. Indeed an excellent ministry expressing gratitude.

If your state, providence or country does not offer this ministry, I would encourage you to start a bible reading marathon with other like minded Christians. Though this team effort t we reach the ends of the earth. Life offers us a spiritual war that we are called to participate in. We can CHOOSE to be on the winning team through our testimony and ministry. Or we can opt to not participate, in which case we side with team Satan, the loosing team. It is our choice. For me I will side with the champion.
