Perhaps a funny joke that makes us laugh. Why do we make a joke of the Holy Bible? God does not joke about us. Yet we often decided what is important to us in the bible. One cannot pick and choose. The Bible cannot be changed for a price. His word cannot be compromised or bought. His word is never changing and His grace is free to us as a gift. Through the death of His son, Jesus, He has paid in full for the accounts of our sins. The papacy may go from wonder bread to KFC, but God never leaves us. And for that I am eternally grateful.

The True Bread Of Awe And Wonder

I think I will pass on the KFC and take the bread. It is more scriptural and not diluted by the greed of man. It has been blessed by someone much higher than the pope. In humble gratitude I will take and eat in remembrance of how much Jesus loves me. He is the true bread of awe and wonder.

Matthew 26:26-28 King James Version (KJV)

26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
