It seems that the modern church has a way of steering around the teachings of Jesus. In 2018 it is appearing more and more that treating Jesus like any other bible character is normal. After establishing that Jesus is I Am we are told we have to balance His words with the rest of the bible. How would God's direct words be measured against an authors inspired words?!
